A Morden Mennonite Quarantine Playlist

Dear Morden Mennonite Church family,

To paraphrase the Apostle Paul in Colossians 2:5, “Though we are absent in body, yet we are together in spirit, and I rejoice to see your morale and the firmness of your faith in Christ.”

I do rejoice to see your faith in Christ, persevering through change and challenge! I rejoice to see the way you are encouraging each other to persist in difficult measures for the common good!

I’ve put together a playlist for us, to help keep up our spirits in the face of COVID-19 and the physical distancing restrictions we are under. These are ten songs of prayer and peace from our first few weeks of this: from our Sunday online worship services, our Maundy Thursday service, and my video messages to the church. May these songs encourage you in the days ahead, lifting up your morale and firming up your faith!

Grace and peace to you through our Lord Jesus Christ,
Michael
